Whiff of Joy - Challenge Card

Hi all, it's a late night for me. Lewis is teething and keeps waking every half hour so I've decided to make a card :0)

My poor little man has pink cheeks and through his pain, bless him, he gave me my colour scheme for this card. His little pink face and blue for my little boy. The photo is not great as it's a bit dark in here...

Sugar Nellie - Snowflake

Unfortunately I don't think I made the deadline this time as I had left if until the last minute to post and had problems doing so :0( I'll learn my lesson next time!

Anyway, it is a lovely sketch and I love this image of Snowflake, she is so beautiful. The image has been coloured using Promarkers and decorated with gems. I have used papers from the Dovecraft and Papermania range. I did not have any backing card in the right colour for my image so I used my Maroon Promarker and white card to make my own. Also decorated with 3 snowflake buttons but in the rush to get the picture taken I have just seen that one has slid down the card. Lesson 2, make sure glue is dry before you move it, lol.

Whilst this card was too late for the challenge I really enjoyed making it. Now I'm back off to my poor little boy who has been teething for the last 2 weeks, bless him xxx

My Second Challenge at Crafty Catz

Here is my entry for the second challenge at Crafty Catz. This week the challenge is butterflies!

I have used Promarkers to colour in this Gorjuss girl and mounted her onto white glitter and lilac circle nestabilities. The stripy glitter butterfly is from Tescos and paper, flowers and hearts are from my stash.

Orange and Green

Today I had a go at using orange and green. I completely went out of my comfort zone with this one as I usually end up using purples, pinks or blues.

I used my promarkers to colour in this gorjuss girl image and I'm now happy with the result. It took a while to get used to it but I think I'll try this colour scheme more now.

My First Sarah Kay Card

Here is my first attempt at a Sarah Kay card. I have really enjoyed making this card and I'm so happy with the end result (which is something I don't say often). It's such a beautiful image!

I used my new Promarkers to colour it in and they are brilliant but I do need to practice using them more.
